The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) has information about school nutrition programs across the state. CDE provides technical assistance to help us follow rules and regulations of the National School Lunch Program.

USDA’s Food & Nutrition Services offers resources for homes and federally funded programs to provide healthy meals and nutrition education materials.

Colorado School Nutrition Association (CSNA)

This is the Colorado chapter of the nationwide association. It is meant to help school nutrition professionals in the state of Colorado network and share ideas and best practices.

Colorado Peak

PEAK is an online service for Coloradans to screen and apply for medical, food, cash, and early childhood assistance programs.

Food Bank of the Rockies

Check out their food bank locater at https://www.foodbankrockies.org/get-help/ to find a food bank near you. Direct food distribution from the warehouse only on 3rd Saturday of the month 9-Noon.

United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)

The USDA oversees all National School Lunch Program operations across the country. All rules, regulations, and policies come from the USDA.

Institute of Child Nutrition

The Institute of Child Nutrition acts as a hub for resources, research, and information for the public and school nutrition professionals.

School Nutrition Association (SNA)

SNA is the national organization of school nutrition professionals committed to advancing the quality of school meal programs through education and advocacy.
